  2. Russell is a great man and I am honored to have know him. His passing brings great sorrow to my heart as well as so many. I can still remember the first time I had the pleasure of meeting him and Sandy, some 32 years ago in a small apartment on Tennessee which later I would live in the apartment just above theirs. They both open there hearts to me and I feel I have been apart of their family ever since. Thank you for being such a fun kind and carefree man, I will never forget your voice or camping in Sullivan and I hope now you rest easy with no more pain. To all of the family I am truly sorry for your loss I love each and all of you as much as I always have. The world lost a great man and I will treasure all the memories I have of Russell and all of you as well. My deepest condolences 💐

  8. So sorry for the family losing Russell with so little warning. Such a shock when it happens that way. We never know when God will call our number. We feel for his wife and his kids and grandkids and all of his siblings. What a sad loss. Russell was our nephew and I know that George would tease him when he lived with Russell’s folks years ago when Russell was a kid. Pray for a Peace for the family.

  10. I knew Russell in high school. In fact, he was my first steady boyfriend. He was a sweet guy then and from the other comments it sounds like nothing had changed. I’m sorry for your family’s loss.
