Helen Sallenbach, passed away surrounded by the love and memories of a family who will miss her dearly. Helen was the beloved daughter of the late John and Aileen Hendricks and sister to Karen Bement. She was a devoted mother to her son, David (Lisa) Sallenbach; a loving grandmother to Alisha (Josh) Schnur and Spencer (Sophia) Sallenbach; and a proud great-grandmother to Austyn, Alivia, and Jaxon. She was also a loving aunt to her nephew, Grant. Helen found joy in the simple things in life. She had a special love for her beloved dog, Zoey, whose companionship brought her so much happiness. She took great pride in her beautifully manicured yard and especially loved decorating it for Christmas each year. Helen was also fortunate to have wonderful neighbors who looked out for her and became cherished friends over the years. Helen loved staying active and especially enjoyed playing pickleball. The friendships she made with her fellow pickleball players which brought her many years of fun and happiness. Even recently when she wasn’t able to be as active, she picked up a new hobby, Mahjong. Helen spent many years working at Fox Photo and CPI, where she formed friendships that extended far beyond the workplace. She treasured those relationships and remained close with many of the friends she made throughout those years. Helen will be remembered for the life she lived, the relationships she treasured, and the many memories she leaves behind. She will be missed by her family, her friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Memorial visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Friday, August 28, 10:00 am until memorial service at 12 Noon.
