65, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 following a courageous battle with Colon Cancer. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Brett) Sapienza for 31 years. Dearest father of Victoria (Benjamin) Miller, Matt Sapienza, and Gabrielle Sapienza. Cherished son of the late Roy and Dorothy (nee Staengel) Sapienza. Dear brother of Ellen (Michael) O’Hare, Julianne Sapienza, and Michael Sapienza. 

 Tom earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri – Columbia (1981), a MBA from Webster University (1992), a MS in Systems Engineering from Missouri S&T (2004) and maintained his Professional Engineering license throughout his career. He worked for a combined 40+ years in dedicated service to the United States Air Force and the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. In addition to a rewarding career in engineering, he pursued his love of refereeing soccer at both high school and collegiate levels. He was also the President of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque’s Holy Name Society. A dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. His positive attitude and willingness to help others will be remembered by all. 

Services: Kutis Funeral Home in (South County), Visitation Tuesday April 5th, from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass April 6, at 10 am at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Church.
