Demetrios Sarantites passed away on September 28 after 93 years of life. He spent many decades at WashU as a researcher and teacher, loved spending time with his family, friends, and pets. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer and her family and many loving family members in Greece.
Funeral at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd., on Friday, October 2, at 12:00 PM. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
Visitation Thursday 5-7:00 PM
I am so sorry. Jennifer. We all loved Pat and Demetri. I will miss our get togethers and crazy times. I can’t even imagine how hard it must be to lose your mom and dad so close together. I hope you are doing ok. Dan and I will be up for the funeral but we will miss the visitation. I know it wil be hard, but let’s try to get together. Maybe for lunch? We love you. Dan and Cheryl
We love your family and are sending love and prayers. Holidays at your parents house were always the best! They come with memories of Demetri and my dad having heated debates, Demetri would always smile and laugh at counterpoints he found amusing. The best food, gift themes, and silly games. What a treasure to have all those wonderful memories.
