My deepest sympathy to the whole Schaeffer family. My brother Charlie was such an awesome personality. He was kind , helpful, funny and always there when I needed a friend. I will miss talking and sharing a drink 🥃 to celebrate anytime. I loved him. He called me his little sis whenever we were together.
Condolences but the guy new how to live and make friends. Actually taught me how to barbecue pork steaks and ribs as he was in charge of our Jaycee barbecues. We were charter members of Affton Jaycees but I had no idea he was 14 years older than I. Great person, always full of advice and help. His memory will live on.
Sending love and strength to my cousins and their families. Uncle Charlie was a great man. He always had a story and it was fun to listen too him. I loved going to the cottage and spending time with all the Schaeffer clan. So sorry I can’t be there Thursday. I am there in spirit and love you all so much. ❤️ Hugs Karin
We’re so sorry to hear about Chuck’s passing- He and Ann were part of my parents’ group of close friends and were always great to visit with. We will remember him fondly and our thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.
Thanks for being a great friend and great guy Charlie. He was my Godfather and really stepped up when my own father passed when I was young. Couldn’t have been a better choice. Love you and will miss you always.
I Have read the obituary of Charles Schaeffer with great sadness and nostalgia. May he rest in peace. One of 17 children, I was a High School classmate and friend of his sister, Judy . I remember her fondly and would be blessed to see her again. after so many years. R.I.P. Charles
