Condolences Dot and family. I enjoyed talking with Jim during the short conversations and interactions since we became neighbors two years ago. Dot, we are right next door so when you need something…call or come over. Once things slow down for you, we’ll be checking on you periodically.
Once again. Condolences to all.

I can’t say enough about my father! He was a good man. He was a great husband to my mother! He was a great father to me! He was also a great grandfather to my son Blake . He always would help anyone that needed it. He worked hard at American can Company on South Kingshighway and retired in 1996. He always provided for us. I have so many memories of my father in all the things he did for me I will never forget! We were a team, hard to explain but we were a team. All of my dad’s friends would tell you what a very very cool guy! He just had this air about him that was very cool and calm. He had a high school degree you would have thought he had a college degree he was very smart. He never worried about dying. He always said to me hey Jim you can’t live forever. My dad was one of the bravest people you’d ever meet. I learned so much from him. I’m so grateful that he was my dad! And I’m proud of him and everything he’s done in life! Rest in Peace Dad I’m going to miss you! But I will see you on the other side one day

Jim, Dotty, Blake, and Sherry:
I am so sorry for your loss! Words cannot adequately express all of what you are feeling at this very hard moment in your lives.
For so many of us who have already gone through this in our lives, we can say that we understand… but what you are feeling right now, is unique on to yourselves because you were Jim’s family and loved Jim as family. That is your own unique bond to Jim. The best any of us can do right now, is to stand next to you and offer all the support and strength that you may need or want right now.
So please know… I am standing right there next to all three of you! If you need me… I am by your side!

I’m going to miss my grandfather greatly. He was a good man, a great husband, father, and grandfather. My love of cardinal baseball and sports came from him. We used to talk cardinal baseball all the time. My sports fandom is a huge part of my life now, and I watch a game from one of my favorite teams nearly every other day. He also taught me everything I know about fishing, and I miss the many times he would take me on his small fishing boat out on the lakes we visited. He was a very smart man with a great sense of humor, and I feel like he was the person in my family that I most matched personalities with. Grandpa, I already miss you and I always will. I love you. Rest in Peace.

Jim,
It is certainly true that I cannot fathom the pain and trauma you are experiencing right now. May god bestows you enough strength to bear the pain of your father’s death and fulfill all your father’s hearty unfulfilled wishes. During this profound time of loss and grief, my complete support and soul-consoling sympathies are with you and your family. If you need anything, I am just a call away. Your father was the most fantastic man.
I know there are many people around you to support you in this gloomy and heart-breaking time. But Nancy and I will always be there no matter what the circumstances will be. Sending our condolences, love, and support to you and your family!
