Ronald C. Schilling, 82, died in his devoted wife’s arms at home on Monday, March 2, 1016 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Ron was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. His life was one of hard work, kindness, and love of family. He was a fisherman, boater, and golfer. He liked to travel and relax on the water at the Lake of the Ozarks, but most of all spend time with his family. Ron was always ready with a joke and a smile for everyone.
Ron was the devoted husband of Gail Schilling and father to Lisa Diehl (husband, Jason) and Richard Schilling (wife, Maggie). He was the proud Gramps to Ryan and Julia, and loving Grampy Ron to Ella, Ava and Everette.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Antoinette (nee Proehl) Schilling, brother, Wayne Schilling, and father-in-law, Robert Grenia.
Visitation will be held at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd. St. Louis, MO 63123, on Friday, March 6, 4 – 8:00 PM. Service will be private.
