Schmidt, Dorothy Jean (nee Baker), Sun. Dec. 22, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Julian Schmidt; dear mother of Susan (the late Joseph) Zewiski, Jim (Rhetta) Schmidt and the late Steven Schmidt; loving grandmother of Katie (Kyle) Eckenrode and great-grandmother of Matthew, Josie and friend to many.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd on Monday, January 13, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service 12:00 p.m. Burial J.B. Natonal Cemetery.

  2. Dot was always such a fun, happy person. I loved seeing her at family gatherings. She had that twinkle in her eyes, and you knew she was going to say something to make you laugh. She was a sweet, kind lady, and will be missed by so many. My condolences to her lovely family.
