James A. Schoonover Wednesday, November 8, 2023.  Loving husband of the late Betty Schoonover and the late Galena Schoonover; dearest father of Ellen (Rick) Smith, Pamela Schoonover, James (fiancee’ Maria) Schoonover, Jr., Kathy (Jeff) Ade, Graham (Shelia) Schoonover, Jamie (Bryan) Powell and Kristi (the late Steve) Wake; dear grandpa, great grandpa, great great grandpa, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

Jim was a very kind and loving, extra ordinary individual that touched the lives of everyone he met.

Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Friday, November 17, 2023, 10am until service at 12pm.  Burial at Shepherd Hills Cemetery.

  1. I am so sorry read that my Uncle Jim saddenly passed away. I have very fond wonderful memories with my Uncle Jim and my cousins and Aunt Galena. I am so sorry for your great loss. I am Herb Schoonover’s daughter.
