Schuette, Daniel J., entered into rest on Friday, June 30, 2023. Beloved husband and best friend of Janni M. Schuette (nee Kersten) for over 29 years; loving father of Lauren (Becca Finke) Schuette and Emma ( Ethan Stinehart) Schuette; son of James F. and Barbara A. (nee Belz) Schuette; son-in-law of Celeste and the late Dwayne Kersten; treasured brother of Scott (Kerry) Schuette, Cara (Scott) Schwartz, Paul (Christine) Schuette; grandson of Anna and the late Thomas Schuette and cherished uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Thursday, July 6, from 12 pm. until time of service 2 p.m.. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Siteman Cancer Center 5225 Midamerica Plaza, St Louis, Mo 63129. or American Cancer Society appreciated.

  1. I am so very sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. Although I only knew him through work, it was obvious what an exceptional person he was. Always eager to lend a hand and just so very kind. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends as you go through this very difficult time.

  3. Dan and I worked together and he‘ll always be an inspiration to me. He‘s one of the kindest and strongest persons that I‘ve ever had the opportunity to meet. We shared a common interest in music and I loved hearing stories of the menagerie that they sometimes hosted in their home. My deepest sympathies to his family. May your fond memories bring comfort at this difficult time.
