Schuler, Mary D. (nee: Purdum) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Thursday, November 21, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Schuler; dear mother of Francis C. (Diane) Schuler, Catherine (Edmund III “Buzz”) Loew and the late Mary Ann Schuler; loving grandmother of Elizabeth (Tyler) Leach, Daniel Schuler, Olivia Loew, Edmund IV “Eddie” (Fiancée Emma McCullough) Loew and Elyse Loew; great-grandmother of Benjamin; dear daughter of the late Francis and Catherine Purdum; dear sister of the late Catherine “Bobbie” Guelker and Margaret Townsend; our dear aunt, great aunt, and friend.

Services: Private burial was held. Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Vincent dePaul Society appreciated.

  1. Mom… I am sorry this obit doesn’t do your life justice. You were full of sass, feisty, and generous with your opinions . Your grandchildren remember your constant supply of Gummy Bears and little cans of Coke. You lived a beautiful life and will be missed.

  2. Your mom was one of a kind! I loved when she would inhale deeply, her mouth would open, and after a very brief pause I knew something funny was about to come out. Thanks for loving all of us crazy kids over the years, Mrs. Schuler! We love you back!❤️
