Jean Marie Schwartz (Byrne), a beloved mother, friend, and pillar of her community, passed away on June 3, 2024, at the remarkable age of 93.
Born on August 31, 1930, Jean lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. She is survived by her two devoted children, Mary Lynn Zinser with husband Louis V Zinser and children Maria and Anthony and their spouses and children. Kim Mangelsdorf with husband Bernard H Mangelsdorf and children Henry, Linnea & Camden, their spouses and children. Grandchildren Monica and Danielle Ward and their children. Special mention for Louis V Zinser III and Brandon Ward, grandchildren, who are waiting in Heaven. She was married to Milton H Schwartz who passed in 2010 after 55 years of marriage.
Throughout her life, Jean touched countless hearts with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering optimism. Her warmth and compassion inspired those around her, and her infectious smile could brighten even the darkest of days.
She was a devout Catholic her whole life who spent her mornings praying her rosary. Her special devotion was to the Blessed Mother who she prayed to daily. She’s a member of St John’s Catholic Church in Imperial where she was also married at in 1955.
Jean will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will continue to be celebrated through the countless lives she touched. Her family takes comfort in knowing that her love, wisdom, and spirit will live on through the generations and now she’s together again with her husband and others who went on before her.
Rest in peace, mom. Your love and legacy will last an eternity.
Services: Visitation at St. John Catholic Church (Imperial) on Tuesday, June 11, from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. Interment St. John Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Parkinson’s Association or the Alzheimer’s Association appreciated. KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Service.
