Scofield, Jane Mayfield (Smith -Carlson)

Of St.Louis Died January 9th 2024 at her home. She’s the daughter of the late Ruth Eileene Smith and Rayford Peter Smith. Sister to the late Mary Knubley.  She is survived by her two sons Andrew D. Carlson and Anthony D. Carlson, also her niece Lisa George and nephew Paul Knubley. Grandmother to Tyler, Brody and Henry. Stepmother to Hailey and Dana.

Services; Visitation will be held on Sunday 1/14 from 3-7PM at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry).

  3. She was a great friend too me and a bunch of us. Not only in school but in Ronnie Hills subdivision. Where she visited often. Prayers for peace and comfort too all the family and friends 🙏

  4. I met Jane 57 yrs ago. My heart hurts thinking of all the memories I shared with Jane over those years. They are great memories and she taught me so much, like about smoking, taking a city bus and making friends everywhere she went. My thoughts and prayers with her family. She loved you all so much.

From the first moment I met Jane we became fast Friends and in all the years that I knew her I don’t ever remember her saying a bad word about anyone she truly had the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever known she was the best person I have ever met and I love her and I will miss her so so much goodbye my friend.
