Mike cherished his family and friends. Mike loved people. Above all things, he enjoyed entertaining and always wanted people to feel welcomed. Mike made it his #1 priority to be the first person to greet new guests. He was the ultimate chef, bartender, story teller, boat captain and host. Mike was the life of the party. He was always someone people could count on for help. He was a selfless role model for all who knew him. There was never a moment where he was unhappy when around people, especially his large, loving family. Mike will be missed but never forgotten. Mike was loved by all who knew him and even by some who didn’t, as it was often said about Mike, “He never met a man he didn’t know.”
The family would like to thank everyone who played a part in Mike’s life. He loved all of you as much as you loved him. He appreciated all of your help and support over the last couple of weeks. A special thank you to the nursing staff at SSM Health at Home.
