Seemayer, Christopher

In Loving Memory

Seemayer, Christopher A.

March 2, 1959 - September 5, 2025

Christopher A. Seemayer,  March 2nd, 1959 – September 5th, 2025.  Devoted husband to Cathy Seemayer (Parsons), Dear father to Jackson Seemayer (Lonnie) and Maggie Seemayer.   Loyal son and preceded in death by Neal Seemayer and Mabel Seemayer (Dolde).  Brother to Neal Seemayer (Monica), Mark Seemayer (Sandy), Patty Buckley (Steve), Michael Seemayer, and Paul Seemayer (Pam). Son-in-Law to Mary Lou Parsons and Robert Parsons, Brother-in-Law to Ron Parsons and the late Michael Parsons. He was Uncle, Cousin, and Captain to many who loved him.

Chris was a graduate of St. Paul’s Catholic School, class of  1973, Chaminade Class of 1977, and a graduate of St. Louis University with a Master’s in Political Science.  He worked many years in City Government, and more recently as the Harbor Master at the Meramec Marina.  Chris was a loyal fan of the Cardinals and the Blues.  He had a love for the holidays, from his days as Santa to his ever-growing Halloween and Christmas decor that he was happy to share on his and his neighbors’ lawns.

Chris was an avid boater and known to many as Captain Chris.  He made friends everywhere he went, but they weren’t just friends; they quickly became family.  He spent much of his time at the Marina or on his boat.  It was rare to see him without a smile on his face.  He was soft spoken and quiet-natured, but when he spoke, he spoke from the heart

We have all been blessed to have Chris in our lives for the last 66 years. He will truly be missed and his memory will live on in all of our hearts for many years.

There will be a mass at St. Paul’s Church in Fenton on Monday September 15th at 11:00am.

Condolences
