Robert J. Seger, was born on September 5, 1936 in St. Louis, MO to Edward and Mary (nee Kosinski) Seger and Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at the age of 89.
Loving husband of 59 years to Marlene (nee Poston) Seger. Dear father of Carrie (Romy) Julian, and Mark (Natalie) Seger. Dear brother of the late Edward (Jackie) Seger, and Larry (Patti) Seger. Loving grandfather of Marck (Danielle), Nick (Ashton), Corey (Megan), Amber, the late Heather, Zak, Robert (Victoria), and Peyton. Great grandfather of Tate, Sam, Waylon, Wyatt, Abel, Lettie, Charlie, and Scarlet. Dear uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
Robert’s hobbies included fishing, and sports. He especially enjoyed baseball, and found much enjoyment while gardening in his yard.
SERVICES: A VISITATION will be held on Tuesday, December 2 from 4-8 pm at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. FUNERAL MASS will be on Wednesday, December 3 at 10 am at Queen of All Saints Church. Burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
I am so very sad to hear of Bob’s passing. He was a gentle and loving person and a friend to all he met. Marlene you and Bob will be in my prayers during this most difficult time. I am so sorry that for health reasons I will not be able to come to the visitation.
