Michael Joseph Seevers Jr., of Imperial, Missouri, passed away on May 4, 2026, at the age of 65, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was a proud graduate of Bishop DuBourg High School and later earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Webster University.

He honorably served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Following his military service, he built a meaningful career across several organizations, using his talent as a grant writer to support schools and nonprofits and strengthen the community he cared about. He most recently served in the development department at Jefferson College.

Michael found great joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. He was an avid billiards player and could often be found at the pool table among friends. He also enjoyed hunting and was a certified NRA instructor, teaching firearms, pistol safety, and concealed carry.

Above all, he cherished his role as “PaPa.” Being a grandfather brought him immense pride and happiness, and time spent in that role was among his greatest joys.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara; his daughter, Rachel Drury (Adam); his granddaughter, Evelyn; his father, Michael “Mike” Seevers Sr.; his sister, Sandi King (Mark); his uncle, William “Bill” Trost (Linda); and many extended family members and dear friends.
