passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Loving husband of Brenda Shackelford (nee Bowman) of 34 years; beloved son of John (Esther) and the late Freida Shackelford (nee Montgomery); dearest father of Amanda (Barry) Melton, Daniel (Renee), Kaitlin Shackelford and Corey Meadows; dear grandfather of Lunahare Shackelford; brother of John Scott (Trish) Shackelford; brother-in-law of Susan Bowman-Skaggs; our dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Visitation Friday, January 17, 10:00 a.m. until Service 12:00 NOON at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd.  Interment Saturday, January 18, 11:00 a.m. at Towles Cemetery, Doniphan, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Stepping Stone Missions, 7929 Ivanhoe St., St. Louis, MO 63123.

  4. I learned late what I was missing in not getting to know Curt sooner. He touched my life when I did finally meet him and spend some time with him. My condolences to my cousins.
