Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Monday, March 18, 2024.  Beloved wife of the late Bill Shaffer.  Dear mother of Jim (Sandi) and Andy (Margaret) Shaffer, Laurie (Jim) McCarty, John (Tina), Paul (Tami) and the late Marie and Mark Shaffer.  Dear grandmother of Chris (Jody), Mark (Nikki), Thomas “T.J.” (Karissa) and Andrew (Bri) Shaffer, Sarah (Bobby) Gordon, Janet (Dan) Cline, Karen (Brandon) Schuessel, Katie (Jason) Leaver, Mike McCarty, Dan (Rosario) Shaffer, Natalie (Justin) Cox, Sam (Molly), Aaron (Krystin), Jack and Nikkie Shaffer, Grace (Jonathan) Clayton and the late Shaun Shaffer.  Dear great grandmother of Michelle, Gavin and Maddox Shaffer, Malcolm “Mac” Gordon, Chloe Cline, Jay “JJ” Leaver, Emelia, Wesley, Millie, Jackson and Adeline “Addie” Shaffer, Anna, Penny and J.D. SERVICES:  Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Road St. Louis, Missouri 63123) Tuesday, March 26, 10:15 a.m. to Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church (6596 Smiley Ave. St. Louis, Missouri 63139) for 11:00 a.m. Mass.  Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Society of the Little Flower (www.littleflower.org) or to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org) appreciated. Visitation Tuesday 9:00-10:15 AM.

  2. I am so sorry for your loss. I loved Theresa, she always made Craig and I part of your extended family. I know she is out of pain and happy to see her husband and children but she will be missed. Such a sweet woman and there are so many stories to tell and keep her present alive in her families life.   3. I just got this, and it saddens me that I missed her funeral. Great Aunt Therese was a wonderful women that everyone admired and loved…especially myself and my family. She will me missed. I thank God for her!

  4. I am so sorry for your loss Laurie McCarty. I know you are missing your mother but also know that she is in a better place with Jesus. If you are anything to go by then she was an awesome mother because I loved being at work with you! Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
