    • She was my social worker. She encouraged me to join AA. I hope she knows I made it 9/24/2024 One Year alcohol free. It was all thanks to her!

  4. Words alone cannot express the sorrow and sadness I have in my heart. Lisa was my friend for 5 years. We both were recovering alcoholics and attended the same meeting. She was such a warm, kindhearted and loving person and we became friends quickly. We had some adventures together like rafting last summer on the black river. It was so much fun. She and I had lot’ of great discussions and endless talks of so many things. We both loved to travel and meet people. She gave her everything to make sure her brother Christopher was always taken care of. We still had so many adventures planned together. I will miss and love my friend Lisa so, so, so much and hope she is resting in peace in God’s loving arms.

  13. Lisa was one of my all time, most favorite coworkers – who became a friend. She was always so kind, caring, loving and inviting. This was not only to her coworkers, but to the clients she served. Lisa had a passion for what she did, you could see it in her everyday work. We shared so many stories of our green social work years, to stories of the now. I will never forget the times that we shared, especially the laughs. This picture is perfect, it’s how I will remember Lisa. She was so loved and cherished by many. She was so dedicated to her care for Chris, the kind of love you don’t see often anymore.

Sending so much love, and lifting the family up in prayer. I pray she is at peace, embraced by family she’s longed to see – welcoming her home.

You will be so missed, Lisa.
Until we see each other again ♥️

  16. Lisa was just simply a light. A joy. Always putting a smile on, a listening ear, and an open heart. Working with her for a few years recently, was such an honor. The way she treated her peers and the patients. She LOVED what she did and took great pride. She also took so much pride in her care of her brother, Christopher. She always shared of her travels and future plans she was so excited for. I know she got to see so much of the world but I wish she could have seen more.
Praying for comfort for her loved ones in this difficult time. Lisa will be missed. She was one of the great ones. To so many. ❤️

  17. I had the pleasure of working closely with Lisa for 4 years serving the health needs of our local community. Her desire to help people and her willingness to assist them in achieving their mental and physical health goals was nothing short of admirable. She was also a bright light to our work team, always greeting everyone with a smile and bringing an uplifting energy that only Lisa could bring. I was lucky to know her and eventually call her my friend. I will never forget the hours of conversations we had and her many ways she showed me that she cared. She once helped my family and I at a time when we needed it most. Her smile, her positivity and her persistence will continue on in the hearts of those who knew her best. This is a huge loss and my deepest condolences go out to her family, especially her beloved brother Chris, during this difficult time. Lisa, I will miss you dearly but I know your light continues to shine on, as bright as it always has. Rest easy my friend

  24. My thoughts and prayers are with Lisa’s family. I had the pleasure of working with Lisa and getting to know her. Although I did not know her long, I felt an immediate connection and comfort just in knowing she was across the hall. She was the first to offer a warm welcome and treated every individual that she encountered as a valuable human being. She had a heart of gold and it was easy to see that she truly wanted to help and comfort others. I used to love at the end of the day when it was just her and I in the building after hours and no matter how challenging the day, Lisa could be heard singing hymns and Loving The Lord! I thought of Lisa often after she retired and wanted to reach out to her many times, but regrettably never took the time. I am glad that she got to spend her last days with her family. She talked about the love she had for her family on a daily basis and her face lit up each time.
It was truly an honor to get to know Lisa and I pray for comfort for the family and the many people that loved her, in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
