Skaggs, William (Bill) A.

William (Bill) A. Skaggs was born to Herman and Hildred (Caringer) Skaggs on June 17, 1940 in Steelville, MO and entered into rest on Thursday April 25 2024, at the age of 83 at Mercy Hospice South – de Greeff Hospice House.
Bill is survived by his wife of 54 years: Mary J. (Behrman) Skaggs; one daughter Deborah (Alan) Fessler and two grandchildren; Kaitlyn and Kallie Fessler (Imperial, MO). Brother of Geraldine Sellers (Davisville, MO), Gary Skaggs (Cuba, MO), and Kathy (Mike) Reeves (High Ridge, MO). Brother-in-Law to Barbara Skaggs (St. Louis, MO) and Marge Skaggs (Wegen Core, VA) and had many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by four siblings: Leon, Donald, Marvin and Mary Skaggs.
Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling in his RV and watching St. Louis Cardinal games. He also was proud to have served as a Mason and Shriner. He also was a truck driver who drove over 3 million miles.
Bill was honored to have served in the U.S. Army and will receive full military honors.

Services: Memorial visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Thurs. May 16, 10 a.m. until service at 12 Noon. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
