Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Friday, January 12, 2018; beloved husband and best friend of 60 years of the late Juanita Skurat (nee Drennen); loving father of Mary (Robert) Dobrynski, Barbara Skurat and Donna (William Jr.) Randall; cherished Paw Paw of James (Marie), Justin Dobrynski, Aaron (Rachel Bishop), Shawn, Jenna “Shortcake” Randall; adoring great-grandfather of Cecilia Dobrynski; special friend of Karen Spence-Bolhuis; dear brother of Marie (Joseph) Difani and the late Leo Skurat; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and friend to many.

 

Mr. Skurat was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and retired from Eastern Airlines. He was also past Commander of VFW Post #3250 (Shrewsbury).

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Thursday, January 18, 12:00 noon with Mass celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 12:30 p.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,  memorials to the USO of St. Louis appreciated. Visitation Wednesday, 3-9 p.m.
