We are sad to announce the passing of Adelita Smith of Granite City, IL. She died at age 33 on December 22nd, 2022.

Lita was born on November 29th, 1989 to Craig Garcia Sr and Vicki Cobb in Fairmont City, IL.

In 2008, Lita married Nick Smith in Denver, CO. Lita and Nick went on to have four amazing children, Nicholas Brandon Smith Jr, Anthony Xavier Smith, Isauro Tuffy-Joseph Smith, and Elizabeth Lily-Victoria Smith.

Lita was predeceased by her father Craig Garcia and her grandfather Gil Garcia. She is survived by her mother Vicki, husband Nick, and their four children.

Family was everything to Lita and she passed away surrounded by her family and loved ones.

A viewing will be held at Kurtis Funeral Home on Friday December 30th,2022 from 4pm to 8pm. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home located at 2906 Gravois Avenue, St Louis, MO 63118 or 809 Niedringhaus Ave, Granite City, IL 62040.
