In Loving Memory

Smith, Jennifer Ayleen

On Tuesday October 8, 2024. Loving Daughter of Judy and Steve Smith of Fenton. Beloved sister of Stephanie (Stuart) Dace and Stephen (Jo) Smith. Cherished aunt of Lincoln, Beckett and Juliet. Dear granddaughter of Phyllis Gray and the late Gerald Gray, Clifford and Ayleen Smith.

Jennifer lived a life full of love, service, and dedication. Her greatest joy was found in the deep bond she shared with her beloved nephews and niece, whom she cherished beyond measure. Whether she was spending time with them traveling, being in Branson braving roller coasters and water parks, going to ball games,  they were always at the heart of her life.

Jennifer also had a profound love for baseball, and she took great pride in her role as an usher at Busch Stadium for Cardinal games for nine years.  Her warmth and welcoming spirit left a lasting impression on the countless fans she greeted, making each game a memorable experience for those who crossed her path.

Professionally, Jennifer was deeply committed to her work as a paraprofessional in the special education department at Seckman High School. Her compassion, patience, and unwavering support for her students made her a cherished and respected figure within the school community. She approached her role with passion, dedicating herself to empowering students to reach their full potential.

Jen loved her church, working with her parents and supporting missions and bell ringing with the Salvation Army.  Jennifer was a frequent visitor at the Arnold Rotary Club and lived the motto, “Service Above Self.”

Jennifer’s legacy of love, kindness, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She touched lives in a way that will be remembered and cherished forever.  She knew and loved Jesus Christ and is enjoying eternal life in Heaven without any pain or suffering.

Services; Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Sunday 10/13 1PM until service at 4PM. Interment at Shepherd Hills Cemetery on Monday 10/14 at 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers donations to Fox C-6 Special Education (SHS), checks made payable to Fox C-6 in care of Susie Graham (745 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO 63010).

  5. Steve and Judy. I am so sorry I will be unable to attend the funeral of your daughter Jennifer. She was a very special person and loved by everyone she came in contact with. God truly gained a beautiful young lady into His family. May Gods blessing be with you and your entire famil.

  6. There are no words to adequately describe how much our hearts are breaking for your loss. Losing a child defies the natural and expected order of things. Jen knew Jesus and made the very most of everything she was given. She was respected and loved beyond measure by so many. She lived a beautiful life and accomplished more in her short years, than many people do with so much more time. Your family is, and will remain constantly in our thoughts and prayers. I know she will be very missed until you meet again. With much love and prayers, Jan Stumbaugh and family.
