Beloved husband (proudly and happily married for 47 years) of the late Christine Sonntag (nee Reinecke); cherished father of Kim (Mike Munsch) Sonntag and Jeff (Lindsay) Sonntag; adoring Paw Paw of Audrey and Tessa Blancett, Riley and Hunter Sonntag. Dearest brother of Tammy (Richard) Rhoads and the late Carl “Buster” (survived by Mary) Sonntag and Darryl (late Carolyn) Sonntag; brother-in-law of Larry (Cheryl) Reinecke and Jimmy (late Kathy) Reinecke.  Our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Services; Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry Rd.) on Saturday, September 7, 2pm with a memorial gathering to follow until 4pm

  3. Gary will be dearly missed. Gary and Chris Sonntag were very fun, loving, awesome people. I feel blessed to know them and grateful for fun times together. You can tell how awesome they were by their children, grandchildren and friends they kept. Thank you God for Gary and Chris.
