Spies, Alvin G. 75, of St. Louis was Baptized into the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Saturday, July 10, 2021.

Beloved husband of the late Joan Spies of 50 years; dearest father of Anjanette (Jesse) DeLeon and Amanda Spies; papa of Jessica, Maya DeLeon and Morgan Spies; our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Funeral Friday, July 16, 9:45 a.m. from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. to Seven Holy Founders Church, 6737 S. Rock Hill Rd. for 10:00 a.m. Mass.  Interment Sunset Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation.  Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m.

  3. I’m going to miss you Al. It was great working with you as a Police Officer in the rail yards of St. Louis and East St. Louis. You kept everyone safe. As Presedent Of The Missouri And Illionois Railroad Police Association you demonstrated great skills as a leader. Allways a team player.
