Myrna Stacy passed into Heaven on December 4, 2024. She was born on October 3, 1943 loving daughter of the late Lyman and Beulah Stacy. Myrna, a life-long resident of the Saint Louis area, graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1965 with degrees in English and History. She taught English for 35 years where she was a beloved teacher at Fox Junior High before retiring in 2000. Her hobbies included reading; her favorite book was Pride and Prejudice, as well as raising flowers in her garden, ceramics and cake decorating. She was so talented at cake decorating she made multi-tiered wedding cakes for family and friends. Myrna loved taking pictures of family, friends, her pets, places she visited and the wild animals who visited her back yard; she embellished her multitude of picture albums with scrapbooking. Her favorite colors were pink and red; her first car was a red Mustang. She was devoted to God; every day she read her Bible. Myrna was a life-long Baptist and a faithful member of Canaan Baptist Church, where she sang in the church choir and was an active member of both the Bible studies classes and Sunday School classes. Her favorite hymn was What a Friend We Have In Jesus. She was a gentle and loving person who will be missed by family, her many friends, and former students.
Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Tuesday 12/10 at 10AM. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation Mon. 4-8PM
