  1. This is such a big loss for the Friendship Village community. Vera was one of the kindest and most gracious ladies ever. She also told the best stories about life as a farmer (how she didn’t enjoy to make pork sausage)! And my most treasured memory is singing and whistling Jesus Loves Me with her. I can’t believe she is gone. Shirleen, Karen, and everybody else in Vera’s dear family, we are grieving and missing Vera with you.

  3. Elvera loved her Lord and her family deeply. Her smile and the twinkle in her eyes brightened the room and lifted the spirit of everyone around her! I have missed her sorely this past year, and am grieving over not being able to see her again here. May our resurrection hope in Christ give us comfort and peace.
