Beloved husband of Faye Stanek (nee Cole). Dear stepfather of Michael (Kellie) Klepper and Joseph (Yonga) Klepper. Dear brother of the late Jennie (Bernie) Kaminski and Frank Stanek. SERVICES: Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Road Affton, Missouri 63123) Friday, June 26, 9:15 a.m. to St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment with full military honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Mr. Stanek was a member of the Retired St. Louis City Firefighters Union. He was an avid golfer and obtained a hole in one. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Backstoppers or the Humane Society of Missouri appreciated. Visitation Thursday 4:00-8:00 PM.
