In Loving Memory

Staycoff-Scanio, Emily “Lee” (nee Jolley)

August 31, 1930 - October 17, 2026

With heavy hearts, we share the life and the passing of Emily “Lee” Staycoff-Scanio at the age of 96.

Beloved wife of the late Vincent Scanio and the late Donald Staycoff; cherished mother of Terry Swigert, Donna (Ernie) Carroll, William (Peggy) Staycoff. Our dearest Grandmother, Great Grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.

Emily was born August 31, 1930 and lived a life full of love, kindness and generosity. She truly had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, creating a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. Her passions in life were fishing and singing in church and serving the homeless, but her TRUE LOVE was attending church and serving her Lord and Savior

Those who knew her will remember the warmth and kindness she extended to everyone she met, everyone was her brother and sister in the Lord

A woman of faith, she was a devoted member of Christian Fellowship Assembly Church in High Ridge, Mo. and Full Gospel Assembly Church in St. Louis, Mo. She loved going to church and cherished her church family. Her generosity and compassion shone through her commitment to helping those in need, a testament to her kind and loving spirit. Supported the homeless with Bro Joesph Prance for more than 40 years

While we mourn the loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life she led. She was a very faithful woman of God her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who were Blessed to know her. We find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in Heaven and watching over us. She will be forever missed and forever loved.

Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
