(Nee Murray) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother church  Saturday, April 16, 2016.

  Beloved wife of Jack Steiner for 66 years.  Dearest mother of Patti (Tom) Auer, Steve (Gail), Tim (Carrie  Wilshusen) and Jack (Susan) Steiner;  loving grandmother of Jeffrey  (Amaka) Auer, Alex Auer (Dave McMahon), Simon (Prescila) Steiner, Jenna (Adam) Archuleta, Christa Steiner, Molly, Veronica and Ursula Steiner, Drew and Sam Steiner;  dear great-grandmother to Erica and Amy;  our dear aunt, cousin and friend.

  Irene served in the United States Navy during WWII.  She was a life master duplicate bridge player.  She was an enthusiastic athlete and  enjoyed tennis and golf, as well as basketball in her younger years.  Everyone who knew her appreciated her joyful sense of humor.  Her most prized accomplishment was her  vocation as a wife and mother.  Her family will miss her and hold her memory dear.

Services:  Funeral Mass at St. Catherine Laboure Church, Friday April 22, 1 p.m.  Interment, JB National Cemetery.  Memorials to deGreeff Hospice, appreciated. A KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL  SERVICE.
