Michael Scott Stephens age 60, passed suddenly on Monday, March 7, 2022; beloved son of Gloria (nee: Griffin) and the late Robert Stephens; dearest brother of Connie (Greg) Lange, John (Donna) Stephens and Leslie Friend; dear nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. Served by Kutis South County.
Mike was a long time employee but I also considered him a friend. When we first met I saw a guy that was covered in tattoos and projected an image of someone that didn’t care to talk to me and didn’t care if I talked to him either. He was distant. Those who knew him well enough to get past his outer shell knew him as a person that had a big heart and would do anything for the people he cared about. To my surprise on the inside he was actually very sensitive and caring. He cared deeply for his loved ones. He will be missed by many.

We are friends of John, Michael’s brother, through our church fellowship. We are very sorry for the sudden loss of his beloved brother. It was precious to be able to pray with John and Donna that evening after they had heard the news of Michael’s passing. We continue to pray comfort for family and friends during this time of overwhelming sadness.

For my Dear Uncle Mike, I’m still in a sort of daze after hearing of the bad news about him.. Growing up I didn’t have my father around and he was the father figure in my life Like the other person said, he was my super hero as well. Love you always and never forget you. Goodbye Unk.
