  1. Dan was a fun cousin to be around. He never shied away from making family & friends laugh. He enjoyed when anyone would interact in games with him. He loved shooting pool at his house. He loved bowling. He loved his indoor basketball net & I enjoyed it too. He loved going to professional baseball games. He truly loved being around family & friends & it showed by his interactions at family picnics. You’ll be sorely missed Big Dan.

  2. I had the pleasure of meeting Daniel at Lafayette Habilitation where I cared for him as his nurse, affectionately calling him granddaddy. He radiated joy, and his love for dancing and basketball was contagious. On my toughest days he’d envelop me with the warmest hug, patting my back reassuringly and reminding me that everything would be alright. Granddaddy’s memories will live on in my heart and he will be deeply missed. Rest in peace granddaddy till we meet again ……..FELICIA

  3. Uncle Danny was always so excited to see everyone. He had the biggest heart. I’ll always remember going to grandma and grandpa’s house and sitting with him as he showed me everything that was coming on TV in the TV guide. Watching the three stooges, wrestling and baseball were his favorites and I enjoyed watching them with him. He had no problem showing you who was the boss either. I will always hold Danny close to my heart and all the fond memories we shared. Love you Big Dan!

I was honored that I had the chance to assist in care with one of gods greatest souls. I’ll miss our morning dances at the breakfast table, all the giggles we carried throughout the day, and most of all your excitement when I wore my cardinals Shirt for you. I hope you’re up there with your cardinal gear and dancing shoes on 🥹😇
