Frances Katherine Stovall (nee Sindell), 102, entered eternal rest on July 22, 2026, fortified by the Sacraments of the Church.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Sally Stovall, cherished granddaughter Catherine Stovall Badger (Jeffrey), and her two great-grandchildren, who were the sparkle in her eyes, LOGAN Badger and CHLOE Badger. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, John F. Stovall, Jr., and both of her sons, John F. Stovall III, and James T. Stovall.
She was born on January 22, 1924, at her home in St. Louis. She graduated from Saint Xavier High School, then married her sweetheart on May 29, 1941. Fran was employed for many years as Patient Relations Administrator for Jewish Hospital. She retired to care for her mother until her passing. Fran then joined Bethesda Health Group and eventually retired again. For the past 24 years, Fran has resided at Bethesda Orchard in Webster Groves, where she leaves behind many dear friends.
Arrangements are being made by Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Rd., Affton, MO. Visitation will be from 3 PM to 5 PM on Sunday, August 2. Services will be at 10:30 AM Monday, August 3, with family burial immediately after. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
