  1. Years of Ridge Forest memories flood my mind…but one stands out.
I was living in a rental in Rockhill with my friend Stephanie. Our stove wasn’t working. So we called the “Laclede Gas boys”…my daddy and Mr Strawhun. They came over immediately to check it out. Once it was all fixed, Steph offered them an ice cold beer. Opened the fridge…no beer…
We all had a good laugh. I still smile when I think of that day.
    We’ve lost a gem of a human being…
    Cheers Mr Strawhun!
    You did good💜🌻✨🪶

  3. I met “Willy” during my college days with his son, Steve. Willy and Mrs. Strawhun were two of the sweetest people to walk the Earth. They were always so welcoming whenever we were at the house on Ridge Forest. One thing I will always remember of him was how nothing ever seemed to throw him for a loop. What a great guy. I’m glad I had the opportunity to know him.
Our thoughts and prayers go to all in the Strawhun family.

  4. Mr. S… you will always be my second daddy. I hope you are sitting at a table with Mrs. s and my parents (Anna and Carl) having a cocktail. And viva Christa is laying by your feet. What a wonderful life you had, and made sure everyone around you did too. You will surely be missed. I love you forever…. Till we meet again
