In Loving Memory of Jesse Lee Stuart
August 24, 1946 – October 23, 2026
Jesse Lee Stuart was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, veteran, and man of faith who passed away on October 23, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him dearly and a legacy that will live on for generations.
Jesse was a man whose warmth, kindness, and silly sense of humor made him special to those who knew him. He had a way of making the people around him feel loved, and his heart was always with his family. Whether sharing a meal, laughing together, or simply spending time with the people he loved, he found joy in the simple moments that make a life meaningful. He especially loved a good breakfast, and he never needed much of a reason to enjoy time with his family.
Above all, Jesse loved his wife, Aleta. Their love was a precious part of his life, and the devotion he had for her was evident in the way he cherished her. His family was his world, and the love he gave them will remain one of his greatest legacies.
Jesse was also a proud veteran who served our country. He held a deep appreciation for American history, our nation’s story, and the freedoms we share. His love for his country was an important part of who he was.
Most importantly, Jesse loved Jesus. His Christian faith was central to his life, and the hope he found in the Lord was a foundation for the man he was. His family takes comfort in the faith he held dear and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Jesse was a father to Jammie, Shannen, and John, and a proud grandfather to Johnny, Jeff, Alicia, Jordan, Jessica, Megan, London, and Brielle. He was also blessed with 17 great-grandchildren, each a part of the family legacy he leaves behind.
Though his family must now learn to live without his presence, the things that made Jesse who he was will never be forgotten: his kindness, his humor, his love for Aleta, his devotion to his family, his service to his country, and his faith in Jesus.
His life was a gift to the people who loved him. His memory will live on around family tables, in stories shared across generations, in laughter that brings him to mind, and in the countless ways his love continues through those he leaves behind.
Jesse leaves behind a family who will miss him more than words can express, but who will forever be grateful for the life he lived and the love he gave.
Until we meet again.
