Dearest wife of the late Frank Stubits, Jr. (March 19, 1944 – September 1, 2024), united in marriage November 5, 1966; beloved mother of Kelly Lynne Brosnan (the late John Brosnan) and Frank Ray Stubits (Lisa). Loving grandmother of Tara Cochran (Jeffrey) and Connor Brosnan. Dear daughter born October 2, 1945 of the late Emmerson McElroy, Roberta (nee Claunch) McElroy Jerrells, and Ray Jerrells, Jr. Dear daughter-in-law of the late Frank Sr. and Elizabeth (Mayer) Stubits. Dear sister of Raylene and (the late Carl) Stafko, the late Sharon (Jerry) Zilske, and Danny (the late Carolyn) Jerrells. She is proceeded in death by her three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Dorothy (Edward) Hoffman, Elizabeth (Paul) Kulessa, and Helen Stubits. Beloved aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Dianna was the secretary for Missouri Beer Wholesalers Association for over 35 years. Dianna enjoyed the beaches of Destin, traveling with Frank, and spending time with her family.
The family would like to thank the medical doctors and staff at Mercy Hospital South and Mercy Hospice, especially Nurse Emily.
SERVICES: Funeral from AFFTON Kutis Chapel, 10151 Gravois, 63123 on Monday, February 17, 2025, 9 a.m., to Church of the Reformation – Lutheran, 7910 Mackenzie Rd., St. Louis, MO 63123 for 10 a.m. service. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2-8 p.m. Memorials to Backstoppers or Church of the Reformation – Lutheran.

What a wonderful picture of your mom ! Dianna always had a smile on her face and a sweet pleasure to talk to ! Now Skip …. After being handcuffed to my grandmothers table and being traumatized ( builds character ) I loved them both ! What kind loving people ! They will be missed 😢

Kelly, I know how close you were with your parents and I’m extremely sorry for the loss of your best friend. Healing will take time but if anyone can get through this it is you. Your one of the strongest people I know. Jimmy and I send our love and condolences.
