I got to know Mel while working at NOOTER. He was a great guy and pleasure to work with. Always enjoyed hearing his hunting and travel stories. My condolences to the family of a great man.
Uncle Mel, you have always been an inspiration and devoted family man. My father’s oldest brother whom he looked up to, and the positive traits he passed along to myself and my siblings, from you, is unsurpassable. You always had something special and inquisitive to say; whether it was about vacationing, building and constructing tips, or life in general, you were an all around wonderful man. Myself, family and friends will always miss and cherish you. I love you Uncle Mel. Until we meet again, may God enlighten your journey with the Holy Spirit. Love your nephew, Nick Suda.
I had the privilege of working downtown with many world class people. Mel Suda was at the top of that group of men. He was a man of principle and value. He gave of his time and talents unselfishly to me, and to many, many others. He was respected, admired, and trusted by everyone I know who knew him. My thanks to Mel, and Debbie for allowing us to spend time with you over the years. I wish you well.
I have known and been friends with mel for many many years. A true kindred spirit and he will be sorely missed.
My deepest condolences to his family as they grieve.
Mel and I had lots of adventures together both at work and play.
Dear Debbie and family,
It breaks my heart to here that Mel has passed. I’m sure he had a soecial place Mel in heaven. He was a very kind man and always pleasant to be around. He will be missed by many. Sending you hugs and prayers at this sad time.
Sincerely,
Cindy Reineri Palazzola
Worked with Mel at Nooter Corp and Construction . He was the best! Any job he handled was effectively ran a money maker. Sorry to hear of his passing. Condolences to the family.
As a young man at Nooter Mel mentored me and became a trusted friend. My sympathies to his family, they shared life with one of the best.
What can I say about Mel that every person that knew him doesn’t know. Wel, I can say meeting him for the first time was very intimidating, he was the kind of guy that demanded respect without saying a word. I did have the utmost respect for Mel. I hope one day that I can be half the man he was. After I moved back to Michigan Mel would call me every few months for the last 6 years just to see how myself and my family was doing. We would talk for at least an hour, talking about deer and the hunting property and how some of his bucks were progressing and if I had been seeing any nice ones up here. I’m going to miss our calls to each other. I’m going miss Mel’s laugh, there aren’t many that are better. Most of all being a young man, I’m going to miss being able to call Mel and getting the best advice on just about any topic you could think up. Till I see you again Mel, rest easy.
Debbie and family, we were so sorry to hear that Mel had passed. He was such a hard working, fun-loving husband and dad.
Our sympathy goes out to all of you.
Debbie,
Sorry for your loss. Mel was a great guy. He will be missed by many
I met Mel at Nooter in 1997 when I started. Without going into detail, it was Mel that allowed me to stay employed there for 23 years. He took me under his wing and showed me what it meant to be a mentor. It was a sad day to see him retire. It’s an even sadder day now. Our loss is heavens gain. Prayers to his family.
We are so sorry for your loss. Wishing you peace during this difficult time.
He was a wonderful Man and my Daughter (Madi) loved and looked up to him…my sincerest Condolences Prayers and Love….
Mel was a great husband, father and grandfather to his family. He was a great man. I can remember Tom and I being hod carriers when he built the famiy home. We were worn out. He told us “no beer to you guys get done”
I was always accepted into the Suda family as the brother from another mother.
Will miss you Mel now you are with your family.
