Ramona was a devout Catholic, whose faith was very important to her. She was a member of Our Lady Of Providence parish for 60 years and attended church regularly and prayed daily. When Michael and Cindy would travel, she would always ask, “did you make Sunday mass?”. She was a loving wife who very much took care of her husband, Mike. When they traveled on cruises etc., she would always pack his suitcase, lay out his clothes, cordinate their outfits, and tell him what to wear.

She had a very strong work ethic, whether it be her office work or being a homemaker. She felt it was her duty to contribute to the finances of the household. She would have
extravagent holiday dinners for the family. Ramona was a very social person which everyone loved. She was a member of the Crestwood Elks, where she made lots of friends. She got involved in her son, Michael’s life such as volunteering in the grade school cafeteria and also being part of the TKE Fraternity mothers club. She got to know many of Michael’s friends.

Ramona loved to travel and went on over twenty cruises with her husband, Mike. She was an avid Cardinal and Blues fan and watched almost every game. She and her
husband, Mike, loved music. They would go out at least two times a week to hear jazz bands. Though only 5 ft 98 lbs., she was very strong and worked very hard in physical therapy. Her son, Michael, at times would over do the therapy. At 93, she was very mobile with her walker. Ramona was old school and always wanted to look presentable wherever she went. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great granchildren.

As the years passed after Mike’s death, she felt she had lived a long full life and was ready to join her husband, Mike. She was a wonderful kind woman and will be greatly missed by all.

  1. I am so sorry for your loss. I was only in Mrs Suda’s company a few times but I have always thought of her as an elegant lady, quiet spoken and kind.

  2. Michael and Family,
So sorry to learn of Ramona’s passing, but she is with Mike in Heaven! My mom, Annabel, always kept in touch with your parents, and then your mom. After mom was gone, I always tried to send a Christmas card, and keep in touch. Family meant so much to her.
May God give you comfort and peace.
