Mary “Marlene” Sullivan, 88, died April 25, 2022 in St. Louis. Marlene was born on March 18, 1934 in Neelyville, MO. The daughter of the late Walter and Mernice Hoffman and preceded in death by her husband James Sullivan. She is survived by three sons; Mike (Pam) Rasmussen, Mark (Shannon)
Rasmussen, and Matt Rasmussen. Grandmother to Kevin (Vicky) Rasmussen, Nicole (Brian) Spruell, Keith (Katie) Rasmussen, Kaylin (Jesse) DeRousse, Amy (Dustin) Brzezniak, Bobby (Amy) Daley, Adam Daley, and Stella Rasmussen. Great grandmother of Kody, Peyton, Lilly, Lydia, Kalista, Karson, Brycen, Kendall, Kylie, Beau, Ellie, Landyn, Addison, and Reese.  Sister of Linda Wagner. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews. Marlene loved to cook, play cards (and win), travel, and spend time with her family.

  1. We will never forget Marlene. She was an integral part of our lives and times on the Gunflint Trail and Poplar Lake. Her generosity and enthusiasm was boundless. We are happy she is now without pain and reunited with Jim. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.
