Michael Thaddeus Summers was born November 14th, 1958, and passed away on May 16th, 2024. Beloved husband of Mary Summers (nee Fitzpatrick) for 38 years. Loving father to Katie (James), Erin Kaiser (Andy) and Michael J. Summers (Julia). Proud Papa to Oliver and Charlotte Kaiser. Dear son of Helen Summers (nee Abbott) and the late John “Jack” Summers. Brother to John, Sally Burch (Tim), Nancy Moore (Tom). Brother-in-law to Tim Fitzpatrick (Mary). Cherished uncle, godfather, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.

Service: Memorial visitation Thursday, May 23 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association or Feed My People.

  2. So very sad to hear of this news.. Christine and I share our deepest condolences to Mary and family… It was a blessing to reaquaint wth Mike, my grade school friend, a few years ago.. We very much enjoyed our frequent dinner get togethers. I will miss Mike’s wisdom, understanding and deep appreciation of the great game of baseball!

  3. Had the pleasure of playing a lot of softball with Mike and his friends. I was honored that Mike asked me to play being eight years older. Mike did everything from managing the team to even cutting the fields. Mike was a true leader and a faithful friend. God speed Mike,Mary and your entire family will be in our thoughts and prayers!

  7. So sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. He was a beloved member of the Class of ’77 at Saint John Vianney High School and one of the truly good guys. We refereed many a soccer game together. He will be missed.

  8. Dear Helen, We are so said that you lost your oldest Son Mike. Our children should not leave before us, but Gods plans are not ours. We will keep you in our prayers, also his family. May he rest in peace., and may the sun shine on all those who knew him.
