  5. We at Thomas Jefferson School were so lucky to count Terry as a member of our faculty. He taught ceramics and art history here for many years and inspired so many young people to discover a passion for the arts. He is missed and celebrated.

  11. Terry and I were both teachers at Rogers Middle School. The last seven years of Terry’s long career teaching art there were the first seven years of my own long, wonderful tenure. Despite age differences, there was a strong bond of brotherhood among the RMS faculty. Terry, in particular, was always friendly, kind, and open hearted to me as a new teacher. In the ensuing 30 years since we taught together, Terry and I have serendipitously crossed paths many times. Terry was funny, fascinating, and truly such a gentleman. I will miss him, but I am buoyed by my belief he is enjoying many joyful reunions in heaven.

My condolences to those who also mourn his passing.
