Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Sunday, June 27, 2021. Beloved husband of Marilyn D. Tiefenbrun (nee Hoggard); dear father of Beth Evans, Matthew (Colleen) Tiefenbrun and Suzanne (Nathan) Hampton; dear grandfather of Daniel, William, Charles, Lucas, Catherine, Elliot, Peter, Sarah Jane and Claire; dear brother of Barb (Dick) Smith, Cathy (Tom) Buescher, Betsy (the late Lou) Ortmann, Margie (Mike) Paur and Mike (Kelly) Tiefenbrun; our dear nephew, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Services: Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Friday, July 2, 9 a.m. to St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church for 9:30 a.m. Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Mr. Tiefenbrun was a member of the St. Louis Antique Arms Association. He was an avid hunter and a volunteer for The Hunt for Persons with Disabilities. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Disabled Hunt, c/o Bob Kendrick, 24 Griffith Circle, Monroe City, MO 63456. Visitation Thursday, 3-8 p.m.

  3. I was so sorry to learn of Stan’s death. I had hoped he would beat this cancer. I prayed every day for him to be healed, and God’s answer was to heal Stan in the most perfect way. I will miss him so much.

  5. I am so very sorry to hear this news! Stan lived next door to me back in 1970 and we enjoyed many fun times together. He introduced me to bacon on pizza. Shared many BBQ dinners together. Beth, Matthew and Suzanne….watched you kids grow up….from letters with pictures to Facebook.

    He was a Officer and Gentleman that was tough, smart and very funny. He always greeted me with a smile and joke or colored comment. Stanley will be greatly missed, a lot like his spice he was the salt of the Earth kind of person. I doubt I will ever see the likes of him again. Rest in peace old friend. Vic Salguero

I will never forget him coming to my parents farm to deer hunt and explaining to us the deer watch problem with hunting. He made my laugh so much and enjoyed his humor and stories. They always say God takes the good onescwsy to early. God bless you and your family and continued prayers for you all.
