  2. Dear Uncle Bob, I will miss you so much. You were a wonderful husband to Aunt Pat and a great father to the boys, John, Chad and Eric. Now you can go to Heaven and find your son and your parents and your brother-in-law Ed. Also, Uncle Don. Fly high Uncle Bob, as you are missed by so many xx Give them all a big hug and kiss for me.
    Love you forever. Xx

  3. **The Final Roll Call**
    by J Svaglic

A police officer faced the Lord above,
In uniform pressed and brass aglow.
“Step forward now,” God gently spoke,
“Your heart and deeds I wish to know.”

“How have you served upon the earth?
What path did you choose to take?
Did you follow all My teachings true?
    What difference did you make?”

The officer stood with humble grace,
“Lord, I tried but sometimes failed.
The badge I wore demanded much,
Through storms and strife I sailed.”

“On Sundays when the bells did ring,
My duty called me far away.
The streets were harsh, my words were too,
As I kept evil souls at bay.”

“Not one penny did I ever take,
    Though bills would often mount.
Each cry for help I answered true,
    Though fear would sometimes count.”

“These tears I’ve shed in darkness deep,
    Forgive my moments weak.
    I know I don’t deserve Your grace,
    Among these souls so meek.”

“A simple place is all I ask,
If You see fit to grant.
I never sought for glory here,
    I’ll understand if You can’t.”

    Silence fell around God’s throne,
    Where saints in glory dwell.
    The officer waited patiently,
    For judgment’s final knell.

“Come forward now, my faithful one,
    Your burdens carried well.
Walk Heaven’s beat in peace at last,
You’ve served your time in hell.”
