  3. Mandy, I am so sorry for the loss of your father. Reading his obituary he sounded like he was a wonderful man and cared deeply about his family and community. I know you are very proud of him. God was apparently ready for him to come to Heaven where he will look over all of you from above. He and your family are in prayers.

  5. Marilyn,
Please accept our condolences! I always enjoyed seeing Gator at the Shark hangar.
I wish we could come in person for the visitation but we’re in Florida. But we will be there in spirit!

  9. There are no words to describe the loss of my dear friend. Larry was a true friend not a phony. At one time I desperately needed help for me and my family. Without Lar I might not have made it and my family and I love him for it. In all of my years with the SLPD I can honestly say Larry was one of the best I have ever worked with. He has a beautiful wife Marylin and daughters Mandi and Chrissy who he was alwYs bragging about to me. We will miss you our friend

  13. Dear Marilyn and girls:
I’m so terribly sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. He was a true friend and a good person. He was always there to help when help was needed. We had a lot of good times at work events, golf, parties at our houses, and of course the car shows and Shark Tanks. I loved his big smile and laugh, and his fun loving and kind spirit. Please accept David’s and my sincere condolences. You and the girls are in my prayers.

  17. I worked with Larry in the SLMPD TACT Unit back in the ’70s and ’80s. He was a great guy and a great detective. They don’t make ’em like that anymore – unfortunately. Best wishes to his family and friends.
