Tossick, Katherine S. (nee Farabell)

Katherine S. (nee Farabell) Tossick, 1951 – 2025 passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in Arnold, Missouri.

Katherine is survived by her devoted loving husband of 50-years, Gary Tossick.  She was a cherished mother to Debbie (Fred) Lincoln , Teresa (Scott Sr.) Gray , Frank (Mirang) Sillman, Christina (Jeff) Adler, Steven (Valerie) Bauman,  and was predeceased by her son Timothy Tossick.  She was a beloved daughter of her predeceased father George and survived by her loving mother Ruth Farabell. Katherine was also a dear sister to Patricia (Mike) Koutsohilis and Rosemary (late husband Jeff) Schicker and was predeceased by her brother George Farabell.  Beloved sister-in-law to the late Edward Tossick, Freddy (Cari) Tossick,  Sharon (Danny) Allen, and Cindy (Scott) Reese.

Her legacy lives on through her extensive family, including numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended relatives who brought joy to her life.  Among them are Denise, Justin (Natlie), Chad (Anne), Michael, Chayton, Sullivan, Quincy, Michael (Kim), Ashley (Gordon), TerriAnn (Scott), William (Catie), Scott Jr. (Devin), Zachary, Brandon, Brian, Liam, Louis, Victoria, Tyler (Bryan), Elizabeth, Cory (Taylor), Kyle, Colin, Breia, Logan, Owen, Peyton, Gordon, Colten, Gage, Delila, Krew, Vivi, Reid, Ava, Brayden, Jayce, Ariel, Timothy, Abree, Gianni, Mikah, Bentley, Malakai, Greyson, and Alexandria.

Katherine will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and aunt who touched the lives of many.   Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A viewing will be held at Kutis South County Funeral Home (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until service at 1:00 p.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.

May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.

  1. You will be missed by all Kathy. You always had a reserved and calming way about you and the way you spoke. I’m convinced you kept Gary out of trouble more than once. You were his anchor. You’ve been through alot physically and medically, but now you are at peace. Rest well dear sister-in-law…

    The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

    Kathy will be missed by so many of us here, however, I know her love for her entire family is still with us. Her smile, kind eyes and beautiful white hair will be a small part of my memory of her.
    I pray God will bring comfort and peace to Gary, his children and their children.
