Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024.

Beloved husband of the late Marion J. Trenholm (nee McComb); devoted father of Rebecca (Kevin) Vermillon, Bonnie Trenholm, and the late John Frank (surviving Darlene) Trenholm; adoring grandfather of Megan (Tyson) Sigette, Michael (Terri) Vermillon, David (Julie) Vermillon, Nick Barcenas, and Robert Barcenas; cherished great grandfather of Addi and Annelyn Sigette, Austin, Lizzy, and Robert Vermillon, and Jenevieve, Noah, and Noble Barcenas; our dear uncle, great uncle, father-in-law, cousin, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital are greatly appreciated.

SERVICES: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd 63123) on Thursday, June 6th at 9:30 AM for 10:00 AM Mass at St. Catherine Laboure Church (9470 Sappington Rd 63128). Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.

  1. John was the remaining member (with his brother Hank) of a South Broadway (St. Louis) group of youngsters that my Dad also belonged to. He was always kind even long ago when we kids would accompany our parents to card parties and gatherings at someone’s house from that group, who stayed together for so many years. He and his friendly ways will be missed.
