  7. Our hearts are broken. David was a soft spoken, yet very strong, hard working man, he would do anything for a person in need, generous with others and selfish to himselt, very persistent. I am reminded of his persistence when he dated Diane. I have said that Diane and Dave had to get married It was the only way they could spend a minute together without dating with Dad sitting in the same room with them or three or four of Diane’s siblings tagging along on a date with them. I have special memories of all of us in the car with Dave driving and us all singing the latest song, one in particular comes to mind, “I really love your peaches, I want to shake your tree.” (did not know at the time what that meant.) going to the yearly car shows, going to Happy Joes, teaching me how to drive in his car. So many more memories. Words cannot express how much we will all miss you David.
