 Tschudin, MD, born on January 28, 1949, in Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on December 25, 2024.
A dedicated physician and graduate of the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Dr. Tschudin was widely admired for his kindness, generosity, and compassion. His professional life was marked by a deep commitment to the well-being of children and their families, and his personal life reflected the same unwavering care and love.
Dr. Tschudin was a beloved husband to Constance Tschudin (nee Barbieri) for 34 years; devoted father of Amanda (Chad) Booher, Stephanie (Damean) Pollman, and preceded in death by Michael Tschudin; grandfather to 4. He was a loving brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, and friend who brought warmth and joy to all who knew him. His legacy is one of selflessness and an enduring dedication to improving the lives of those around him.
In accordance with his wishes, services will be private. The family requests privacy during this time. To honor his memory, donations may be made to Mercy Health Foundation – STL Mercy Heart Prints (give.mercyhealthfoundation.net) or The Street People (thestreetpeople.org), two causes close to his heart.
May his memory bring inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

  1. I have lots of fond memories of working in his office. His diagnostic ability and compassion was always evident in his care of his patients. The office was family.. I will miss him

    It was an honor to work with such a great Dr.
    I will forever be grateful for all that I learned from Dr Tschudin over the many years of working with him. He was a very caring person and so generous to those in need.

  4. Having worked with Dr. Tschudin for many years, I found him to be a brilliant and caring physician., a great boss and an over all good person.
    We are all going to miss his genuine kindness and commitment to all those he cared for.
    I will always be grateful and privileged to have known and worked with him.

  6. My deepest condolences to the Tschudin family. Dr Tschudin always made me feel like I was his only patients parent. Always was straight up with his information and caring to my children. When I worked for him he taught me so much. I won’t ever forget you and your most caring and loving heart for our young. To Connie and your girls I know life will be very different but he loved you all. He is now in heaven with Michael and they both are watching over you. Love you all.

  7. Dr. Tschudin was mine and my brothers pediatrician as a kid and we loved him and his office staff so much! He was always kind, made us feel comfortable and just a nice man. Praying for peace and comfort for his family during this difficult time.

  9. Deepest condolences to the family. Dr. Tschudin was my childrens pediatrician. His kindness, warmth and compassion helped our family through the most difficult time in our lives. He literally saved my son’s life. He was the only one who believed my husband and I when we said we knew something was wrong. He led the charge to get my son diagnosed accurately with a rare childhood cancer and got us into the specialists he needed.
    He was one of a kind. Rest in peace …
