Turner Sr., Kenneth

Kenneth Turner, Sr. of Festus, MO was born October 15, 1950, in St. Louis, MO; the son of Henry Turner and his wife, Mary (Stoffey). Kenneth passed away at home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the age of 74 years.
He was united in marriage to Donna Haley on January 2, 1970, and the couple was blessed with two sons. Kenneth served honorably in the United States Army from 1970 to 1972. He worked at Laclede Gas (now Spire) for 30 plus years until his retirement in 2012. After Donna’s passing in 2013, Kenneth was united in marriage to Sandra Cummings on May 6, 2017, and their blended families became one. Kenneth was a member of the YMCA in Festus. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Turner; his first wife, Donna Turner; and three siblings: Raymond Turner, Shirley Tahaxton, and Dennis Turner.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Turner of Festus; four children: Kenneth Turner, Jr. and Lorie Lacefield of CA, Gregory Turner and wife Lauren of St. Louis, Richard Putney and wife Julie of St. Louis, and Gail Trankler of St. Louis; one brother, Thomas Turner of Doniphan; eight grandchildren: Bradley Turner, Kennedy Turner, Jake (Trishia) Trankler, Larry Trankler, Alex Hallquist, Hailey Putney, Carter Turner, and Della Griffin; three great-grandchildren: Curtis, Blake, and Ariana; and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Siteman Cancer Center or Wounded Warrior Project.

Services: Visitation Monday, October 28 at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry Road) 10:00 AM until the service at 12:00 PM. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
